Christmas Day

I always love taking a picture of the kids coming
down the stairs Chirstmas morning. Sierra's
hair is usually pretty crazy in the morning.
Sammy loves his Spiderman play tent.
Gabe, of course, loves his Wii
Opening stockings

Sunday before Christmas

Thought this was a great picture of
the kids.

Decorating the tree

As a family we love decorating the Christmas Tree
Everyone argues over who gets to help
dad put the star on the tree.

I love this picture of Sam

Dad just decided to put the star on himself

Gingerbread

Grandma Robbins bought us a Gingerbread house kit
so as a Family Home Evening we put it together.
Here are some fun pictures.

Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving was spent at my parents house.
We ate a lot and played games. It was a nice day.

Off to see Grandma

Sierra is on her first airplane ride with Daddy. They
went to California last week to cheer Grandma Denos up.
She had a double Mastectomy on Wednesday. It was a surprise for her
and boy was she ever surprised. She is doing well and hopefully
her treatment from here on out won't be too intense for her.
We will keep her in our prayers.

Sierra loved visiting her cousins. The picture below is of her with Rachel
and Ellie. They spent a lot of time together and Sierra is still talking
about how much fun she had.

Trick-or-treat

Sammy is, of course, Spiderman. I think his cousin Zach
wanted to fight him because he was the evil Venom.
Sierra was a good witch. She wanted to make sure
she was a good witch so she didn't have to
have a green face.
Gabe was Link from the video game Zelda. Thank you to
Aunt Ginger for making costumes for us.
Our three trick-or-treaters
Sam really got into Trick-or-Treating this year. We actually got
to go to a lot of houses. His bucket was so full but he didn't want
me to carry it for him. By the time we were almost done, I was carrying him and holding my hand under the bucket so his poor arm wouldn't fall off.

Blue Belt

Gabe has been working hard to earn his blue belt in karate. I think
his motivation was that we told him he could start weapons if
he got his blue belt. Most of you know how much Gabe loves to play
with swords and so forth. I know, what are we thinking putting
a real weapon in his hand. They are really safe though so it is all good.
Congrats to Gabe on getting his blue belt.

Painting

We have been doing a lot of painting around our house and I just wanted to show you
how much Greg loves me because he knows I am afraid of heights. This is the entryway to
our house.

Pumpkin Patch

We went with Aunt Tori and Uncle Shawn to the Pumpkin Patch
The kids loved the fire pit and the hot dogs and smores.

Sam was too tired to walk

Gabe

Gabe had his 9th birthday on September 24th. I can't believe he is 9.
He had a transformers birthday party and that is what is on top of his cup cake.

Gabe and his friends made personal pizzas with daddy's help.
Gabe blowing out his candles.
We had a balloon toss;
and played musical chairs.

Sierra

We had parents day at Sierra's dance studio. We got to watch her do ballet
and tap.

Sammy

Sorry it has been so long since my last post. I hope these pictures will make up for it. First up is Sammy.
Don't be fooled, that is Sammy under that mask.
Sam likes to help dad outside when he is mowing the lawn.
He loves to pose for the camera. Yes, that is his smile.

We went to the pumpkin patch and Sam had to find just the right pumpkin.

Too Much Fun

Sam and mommy on the hippity hops, I am definitely not as
young as I used to be
Sue decided to have some fun with Greg
and Shawn
and Sierra
and Sam. Doesn't he look thrilled.
