We were able to celebrate mom's birthday today. It was actually on the first but they went to Chicago to see the show Wicked and went to IKEA. There is mom with some of the grandkids. We wish the others were here too. I have to say our mom is the best. I know I am one of her kids but she truly has a heart of gold, especially when it comes to her kids. She is always there for us and truly loves each one of us (and with us that truly is a feat, we can be pains). I know she feels our pain when we are hurt and would like to take it away and also shares our joy in each of our triumphs. Her grandkids are tops and there isn't anything she wouldn't do for them. She is truly one in a million. We love you mom, thanks for being you!!
I don't really remember why dad was laughing so hard.
Paul may not live with mom and dad anymore but he still has a hard time letting go.Happy Birthday Mom!!

I am loving getting to know your mom more and more. She does have a big heart espeically for those dang grandkids.

Alycia!!! Your kids are sooooo cute! It looks like your move to Nebraska has been a good one...we love living in the Mid-West, too. We have some other friends that live in Bellvue...do you know Eunice and Jason Pace? Ryan and Jason went through Quantico and flight school together about 10 years ago... anyway, hope that you are having a fun fall.
